Founded directly after the second world war, The IFMSA's first meeting was held in Copenhagen, Denmark, in May 1951. To trace its history is to tell a story of changing paterns of human relations between members from around the world. From the begining, members were resolute that their college experience should be as meaningful and productive as possible. IFMSA was founded to apply that determination. As the federation grew, it became more complex and cut across racial, geographical, political, physical and social barriers. IFMSA influence extends beyond campus quads and student interests.

(2009-2010)New Crew with Creative ideas
On 8th of October , The SSS General Assembly was held where a new team of officials was elected to take the responsibility of SSS during the upcoming term (2009 – 2010) . We –SSSians- thank the 2008-2009 Board for their high motivation , innovating ideas and appreciated work during their term . This board could represent the SSS in the best way for a whole year that lead the SSS to a safe harbor , and now , A new team of officials has taken the responsibility , promised to fuel the SSS with their hearts and souls and together all of the team declared : "We will support the SSS wherever it goes & under all conditions....
